And if UT's offensive line doesn't show marked improvement in 2012, Dooley need not blame anyone but himself when the sentiment of the fanbase turns against him.

To be honest..  Clifton's post in defense of him weeks ago made me back away from Hiestand for now.  It just made a lot of sense.  Next year is IT, though.

To be honest..  Clifton's post in defense of him weeks ago made me back away from Hiestand for now.  It just made a lot of sense.  Next year is IT, though.
There is no doubt in my mind that a LOT of the isues with the running game centered on Poole but there were far too many individual breakdowns on the OL this year.  In addition, they were really lacking in the ability to block effectively in short yardage situations.  Further, their pass blocking and blitz pick ups were far worse this year than recent years.  I saw Clifton's post but the FACT remains this was the worst OL performance I have seen in many years.

They are what they practice.  If we get serious about making the run game work this year, it just might.  If the majority of snaps remain passes, it probably won't improve much.
