I wonder if that was Herbstreit doing the closing ad which said "ACC Shorts". He was adamant that FSU didn't belong in the playoff. Perhaps he didn't agree with SEC Shorts.

ESPN back 5 weeks ago was saying Bama and Texas and UGA were all better than FSU. ESPN is now the SEC bell cow and was lobbing for a SEC team to get in. ESPN couldn't afford for a SEC not getting in the playoffs.

I thought it interesting that Scott requested correspondence be released between ESPN and CFP members.
