Better late than never.

Trae has come back from injury strong, and McRae and Stokes both stepped it up in his absence.

There have been shades here and there. It just never came together at right time. McRae turned it around in early January. Then Stokes. Now if Golden consistently played up to his potential, this can be a very dangerous team heading into March.

Unfortunately, the hole that they've dug means that UT will have to win the SECT to get an at-large NCAA berth. That's too bad because this is a better team than some of the NCAA at-larges. At least the upset wins over Vandy and UK put this team very close to getting an NIT berth.

I would say that we're peaking at the right time, that we're the hottest team in the SEC right now, and that we're probably the team that no one will want to see in Nashville.  I WOULD say that- but we're talking about the SECT, aka the place where UT hoops dreams go to die.  We've had much, much better teams than this flame out in the first round, and I expect it will happen again. :frown:

Although I WOULD like another shot at that little punkass bitch at Ole Miss. :bird:
