I haven’t seen either of these games. But just based on the scores, they seem to have come out for NCAAT with their hair on fire. Can they pull off the big upset next?

Jackson and Lawson have emerged as the leaders. I'm reasonably impressed with the play since mid Feb, I guess we will see what happens vs the 1 seed.

FTR, LVs lost to VT on Dec 4 in Ktown but only 59-56.

IMO the LVs are much improved. I feel pretty good about our chances.

We are playing much better than early in the season
For one thing, Horeston has now fully recovered from her injury (though she tweaked her left ankle last night)
We also are getting much better post play than early in the season

We went off on threes last night but what impressed me was the inside game the first weekend
For example, in round 1 the first 6 baskets of the 2nd half were layups (first couple last night post HT were as well).

They still turn the ball over far too much and their defense is still too intermittent but their rebounding has been top notch

Bottom line is their next two probable opponents that beat them in the regular season at TBS are beatable with the team current abilities
Will they?  who knows but I think it is doable

YOU ARE WRONG AGAIN!

It was three

The Lady Vols (4-5), who were playing without senior Rickea Jackson, graduate Jasmine Franklin and sophomore Jillian Hollingshead, were led by Horston

Brings up an interesting point, as we had some injuries earlier in the season also, which is that is another reason we struggled in the OOC part of the schedule.
