…and will go for the sweep tomorrow. A&M went to Omaha last year, I don’t think they’re as good this year. Still, it’s good to see our bats waking up the past two games. Now our pitchers need to figure out their first inning issues.

Ready or not, the schedule is about to get a lot tougher, with the trip to LSU looming next week.

They blew it and then came back to tie it before walking it off. It looked bleak for a while.

Good win but at least 2 issues that concern me....

Last season we were awful running the bases......we still are. Last year we were flat awful at holding runners on base and we still are.....Why with a off-season...Fall season....preseason....are we still awful? 😔

I saw it only indirectly at Baumhower's Wings place here in Huntsvegas.  Saw the Vols lead 4-2, let it get to 7-4, then come back and win it so was glad.  Had no idea of any nuance, it was just a scene on a distant monitor.

I am concerned that we seem sloppy this year.  It can often be observed in the NFL, MLB, NBA, that a player getting  a big contract extension will slack off, almost whether he wants to or not.  I hope that's not true of our baseball coach.
