Title: It's not mine, but it is another long time posters Post by: HerbTarlekVol on December 16, 2015, 04:59:19 EST Happy birthday to our very own FLVOL! And he is newly reintroducing himself to civilian life, by the way, after recently retiring from a long and distinguished career in the United States Army.
Happy birthday, and thank you, Sir! Proud to call you a friend. :patriot: Title: Re: It's not mine, but it is another long time posters Post by: droner on December 17, 2015, 01:53:58 EST Happy Birthday FLVOL! I will retire here at Jackson when I become eligible to do so in 4 years. I won't move nor deploy again , those days are over for me. My son however, he's another storyMy bad. I won't move nor deploy again , those days are over for me. My son however, he's another story Ah, that's what I thought I saw on Facebook, as well. Glad to know that i'm not any crazier than we all know I already am. My son's commitment is through May of 17. He's still trying to make a decision at this point, too. They love living near Austin and he's got headhunters from the electronics industry in Round Rock calling/emailing/snail mailing him weekly. At this point my guess is that he gets out then. My daughter in law is a nurse manager, and the Austin area is experiencing a health care boom right now, too. It just seems like a good place for them to be. And they are expecting child #2 in June, which will be our third grandchild. |
