I have never understood the music industry and the critics just absolute adoration with Mariah Carey. I admire the range of her voice. But she does not have to exhibit it in every song she does. There are better voices and performers in music than her IMO. But if you can date, marry, and divorce the record label owner who promoted and advanced your career, more power to you. You live and die at the mercy of lip-sync when you perform sometimes.

As for me, 2016 was not as bad as 2015 personally.
