I can't imagine that they'd allow him to go to an SEC school, but even if they did, would he be much of a factor at UT?  I mean, Driskel isn't exactly an All-American, and Brissett couldn't even beat him out for the starting job at UF.  We're pretty much starting over from square one anyway, so I'd rather do it with younger guys than transfers who will only be here for a year or two.

Moosechump is releasing him....he could transfer. But he isn't that good IMO

It would be good for the depth. Even if He didn't start He would be an insurance policy if the other QBd didn't either

Yeah, if nothing else, he could stand on the sideline and point at the gators like CJ Leak did to us...after he graduated.   

Good for depth...I agree.

I think Driskel is a pretty good QB though.  He was one of the top in the country coming out of HS and generally had a pretty good year.  One bad game doesn't mean he suxes.
