How many times have QBs who couldn't make it at Tennessee transferred to other schools and done amazing things? Nathan Peterman obviously comes to mind but there have been others.
Virginia Tech fans are looking at Hendon Hooker right now and saying, "Why couldn't he play like that with us?!?" Make no mistake, Hooker did pretty well as a Hokie, but he's taken it to another level in Josh Heupel's offense.
Maybe good things CAN happen to Tennessee every once in a while.
Speaking of Peterman, he played a couple of snaps the other day for the Raiders when Carr got injured. Luckily Carr came back in a couple of plays later. Still surprised Peterman is in the league these days ,while other better QB's are out of it.
