Hell, he might be most athletic guy we've had since Admiral.

I was not expecting that. I was under the impression that he was mainly a perimeter guy.

In case you missed it, he just went full court, behind the back, and absolutely posterized an MSU guy on a dunk. Very impressive.

Vols win 89-88. For an exhibition, that was intense. Definitely can't get that kind of experience playing Carson Newman in a 75% empty arena.

Don't want to read too much into one scrimmage, but I have a really good feeling about this team.

This is a loaded MSU team, too, right?   Like all of their sweet 16 back?  And we walk in there and beat them in their packed arena.  Without our two all SEC starters.

Yeah, this is gonna be a FUN season.

Yeah, it said they were ranked #5. So they must have everyone back. But to be fair, Izzo's teams are notoriously slow starters. They'll be much, much better in March than they are now. Still, to go in there and win without Santi and ZZ is impressive.

Barnes' biggest problem may be figuring out the rotation. When fully healthy, we're going to have at least 3-4 really, really good players that get shorted on minutes.

watched the highlights of the Michigan St game. It should be a great season when all the pieces are back. Hope ZZ is full speed.

We do have a few tough non-conference games. This could be one of Barnes deepest, most talented teams if healthy. Should be fun.
