….not too surprising, but it does mean we’re now down to 2 scholarship QBs. Might have to get another out of the portal.

Figured this was coming.

Getting any kind of quality QB from the portal, with Joe and Nico already on the roster, is highly unlikely imo.

I thought he would wait till the portal opening after Spring practice, get more tape

This smells like he has already agreed to go somewhere else, most likely Indiana

Well, I didn’t say “quality”. We just need a warm body. Maybe a graduate FCS qb who wants a taste of big time football before he moves on with his life. I dunno.  :dunno:

Also, the late signing period is coming up (I always forget about that now). Maybe we take a flyer on some late bloomer out of HS.

I assume that Shuler and Moore are still here.

Wouldn't be surprised with Indiana...seems he has a brother there? USF a possibility?

Makes me think he didn't want to compete against Nico...Milton being here just one more season and you never know how long he might last as a starter. Odd really.

Nico got a few reps, Jackson a few, as he was recovering from the injury
Those two never really competed and to me, pulling pitch prior to open competition in Spring practice is very strange

BTW, on the sidelines at the Orange Bowl Jackson was very animated and supportive of Joe and the offense
