I need a little help from someone.  My wife and I are coming to the game Saturday and need some parking ideas.  I want to park a good ways
from the stadium and walk, obviously to avoid the after game traffic, but not too far.  Any suggestions?  Hope everyone is doing well...

Try the Credit Union, corner of 21st & White (behind the Mello Mushroom).  $20 if its the same as last year and as an extra added bonus, on the East side of the building will be great food courtesy of Emeril.

From there it is 0.8 miles by iphone GPS to the upper East side stands (including the switch back ramps)

I will add you to the reserve list if you so desire and the food is always good.....this week we are having gyros (lamb beef and this year pork gyros for lots of different tastes....)

Along with Patatosalata.....Greek Potato Salad.

If you want to avoid postgame traffic, I'd suggest parking somewhere around Sweetwater.  But that's a bit of a hike.

I sometimes park south of the river on Chapman Highway.  Great way to avoid traffic and you can go south to the Pellisippi Parkway and avoid almost all the I-40 traffic.

Only problem is....Chapman Highway bridge is closed.  I doubt it's open to pedestrians either.  if it was, you could still take the Pellisippi Parkway, thus avoiding traffic on the way in, but this might be an idea for 2013 or even 2014.
