OMG, that guy. I wonder if that's the one that was holding court on VN, widely respected by way too many yahoos on there (which for me, I never gave an ounce of credence to it). He had really elaborate stories too, and then like you said just disappeared.
Frankly I'd like to meet him in person and punch him right in the nose.
