I think Alabama will be too quick and physical for Notre Dame. I think Alabama comes away with a 28-13 win

The real question is, who loses?  And the answer is: all of us.

At least I don't have to hear UGA fans bragging about a 2012 National Title for the next 30 years

Bama wins a relatively low scoring game, something along the lines of 24-14.

Notre Dame is fifth in the country on run defense, and as you saw tonight, bammer definitely depends on the run.  ND is also 12th in pass efficiency defense.  If Notre Dame can control Cooper and slow down the running game, they have an excellant shot.   Satan will have a month to prepare, but Kelly is no slouch.

It will be a close, defensive game.   I will be strongly rooting for Notre Dame.

It's a shame that Uga could not quite finish tonight, but it simply further illustrates that this year's satanic team is nowhere near as good as last years.

I will never ever root for bama to win anything. We cant keep this streak up forever so they just as well get it over with.

The younger Vol fans are getting a dose of why bama is THE rival not uf. Also by notre dame winning the rest of the country gets a good reminder of why the are despised by all. Make no mistake I wish they could both lose and the lesser of two evils right now IMHO is notre dame.  It will be a travesty regardless but lets spread the misery around nationwide this time.

I suspect as has been the case with the last few championship games SEC speed on defense will win the day and we will seen the crimson horde grow even more.

Well, no matter the result of the game, having ND in the title game makes the winter a little warmer, the world a little more peaceful, all of us better people, and college football a much better sport.

That being said, ala 77  ND 0.

I'll do what I always do when ala plays in bowl games.  I'll record it and if they win , I'll delete it, and if they lose  , I'll watch it.

to their defensive ranking....I think 'Bama will win easily with a score in the neighborhood of 38 - 13.

A weak schedule according to who?  ND is rated as having a stronger schedule than bama by many services.  For instance, there are these (many of which are used in the BCS calculations: Congrove Computer Rankings, GBE College Football Ratings, Sagarin, Colley Matrix, Anderson Sports, and Massey Ratings.  I am sure that many ratings also have bama with an SOS better than ND's, but I think saying that ND played a pretty weak schedule is not very accurate.  And, many would (and do) say that bama's schedule was weaker by comparison.  I doubt that will have any real effect on the outcome of the game, but....

credence to the other conferences. The only common opponent was Mich and Alabama beat then 41-14 I think and ND beat the 13-6. Bama did get an easy schedule as far as SEC teams go but they did beat LSU and Ga either of which I feel could pummel ND. I think Bama wins along the order of 38 - 13.

According to the official NCAA stats site, Notre Dame had the 13th toughest schedule while bammer was 32nd:

Side note...Vols were 29th
