As much as I enjoyed the Longhorns being humiliated, the Ducks deserved a much better game.

These bowl pairings remind me if the old days when bad deals were signed weeks before the season ended.

Because the PAC 12 has fewer good bowl games

16 points for the flying quacks on offense tonight

Now that the SEC has a presence in Texas, that's a bowl I'd like to see added to our rotation.  SA is easily the most tourist-friendly bowl destination in that state, and we need at least one matchup with a Pac 12 team- we currently have none.

I'd trade the "whatever" bowl that candy is playing and the Liberty bowl for the Alamo bowl for sure.

I'd be quite happy even qualifying to play in the Salad Bowl right now.  Our program just needs to be playing past the Kentucky game.  The fans need to have that bone thrown to them.

I agree.   Some have said it doesn't matter, get on with recruiting.  But I think it does...it keeps the team somewhat in the spotlight for another few weeks and it really looks bad not to go to a bowl game considering how easy it is.  To say nothing of the extra practice and experience for younger players.

Frankly, we need to quit playing the Oregons and OUs until the program is back on it's feet.   Schedule another patsy and we make a bowl easily.

I could care less if we went to the Toilet Bowl in Flushing WY. I'm tired of watching bowl games and not being one of the teams playing.

Yesterday......I was watching MTSU (good for them) play in a bowl and us sitting home again! Noodle that Vol fans..

Yeah...if we played MTSU's schedule we'd be 11-1 or 12-0, lol.   It sucks to be playing the country's toughest schedule while in rebuilding mode, but it is what it is.  I think what might happen, if Butch keeps recruiting at this rate, is that the players going through all this now, the young ones, will emerge very strong in a couple of years and we will be very competitive.  Next year will probably suxes again, but maybe we can at least make a bowl for a change.
