.........says that he feels that a post-season ban is coming. One, maybe two years.

He's on Finebaum right now.

Finebaum just said that he's been told that the new AD hire has already been decided.

That should be the case, and would be excellent news provided it's someone competent.

If it is, then it most likely is one of the 3 I named earlier (and I saw a treat that Swan had them has his top 3

If it's from Pirate's list we should be good. And if they don't have a MOU with anyone the firings should continue.

The runway for this is so long even the Spruce Goose could get aloft.

Basilio:  Lane Kiffin has reached out to several UT boosters to express interest in the coaching job.

We could do a lot worse... but ideally we'd do better.

If I was Kiffin I would tell UT to go eff itself. He would curbstomp us at Ole Miss right now.

Is a post season ban really that harsh. When do you expect us to be post season eligible?

I would point out some thing, but they would say over your head, without leaving a part

BTW, I'm NOT on the Lane Train, though he most likely would be a better pick than most of those on the various "hot boards" (if he had a STRONG DC)
My personal opinion is we will have Steele for 2021, for a variety of reasons.

I've thought since yesterday that Steele will probably be the coach next season...As you said, for a variety of reasons.

If the post season ban comes Steele would be the best choice and don't take the interim tag off him until he performs. If he doesn't we make time to search for a replacement who doesn't come in under a ban thus allowing for a better hire.

Not a terrible idea
