But I see that they did have 27 FTAs to our 7.  Sounds like a typical night in Lexington.  I guess cal's greasing of the rupparees in the media yesterday worked like a charm.

Well that is an absurd differential.  We still lose by 10-15 even if that disparity was corrected.

Maybe so, maybe not Smokey.   I noticed that at halftime we were down 13 and they had hit 12/14 free throws while we were 0/0!  Now that is an ABSOLUTELY ABSURD differential.  Things got a bit chippy at one point and the refs called mutual technical fouls.  I noticed that they really clamped down after that....on US.  Not so much on UK.  This was all first half stuff.

But I remember thinking at half time, that they outscored us at the FT line 12-0, hit their first 11 shots from the field, and yet if you take away the FT differential it was pretty close.   Not to read too much into that, but it suggests had they not caught all the breaks it would have been far more competitive.
