8th in passing offense
2nd in rush offense
7th in scoring offense

2nd in rush defense
10th in pass defense
5th in scoring defense


So you could say "average SEC offense and above average SEC defense".

Top 25, but not top 10, sounds about right for those stats.  It is what it is. 

If this is truly a rebuilding year, and we are above average overall in the SEC, and top 25 with a Florida bowl game, I can live with that.

If this is the norm, I think it will get old really quickly and there will likely need to be a change.

If this becomes the ceiling, like it was for the previous 13 seasons to last year, then I shudder. I don't see that being true though, not under Heupel.

The question is, what is the true ceiling?  We will start to find out next year.
