This talk is not insulting to the team and very appropriate.

You want to know what is insulting to the team?  Horrible coaching!  I am so sick of seeing people post that the "negavols" are hurting this team and recruiting.  Dooley and his staff are hurting this team because they are incapable of giving their players a chance to win.  These players came here to win against the upper class teams (Bama, Florida, and UGA)  Our players match the upper class team members talent but hey are being out coached.  BTW everytime the team stats flash up on the screen on ESPN, you know the big 0fer in the win column against ranked opponents and the stellar win record against SEC opponents, that is what is hurting recruiting.  Keep Dooley for a few more years and then we will be able to tear down Neyland stadium and make more parking for Counzo and his winnng team!   

I think we all need to resign ourselves to the fact that either Derek Dooley or Kirby Smart is going to be our coach next year.  

This is not the case people.  Dooley is done and the booster will not bring in another no name unproven head coach.  They and we have all seen what formula works today in college football.

I dont know if we will get Gruden but I have also heard that the "short" list is very impressive.  A short list with dooley's or smart's name on it is not impressive!

There will be nothing but bad luck as long as Dooley is our coach.  People he is gone so these scenarios that are being thrown out by ppl of dooley being here next here are just a waste of time!     Get your head out of your rear!!!!!!!!

If I was a booster (which I am not) and I was going to have to float the bill for the next coach (which the boosters are) I would want to be heavliy involved in making the coaching hire.  I see nothing wrong with this nor do I think it is uncommon.  It is their money period.  At least it is people that want to see us return to Victory.  I dont care who brings in the next coach as long as it is a big name coach with a winning record.  The following criteria is what I DO NOT want to my responses to be when we name our next head coach:

Who?
The man sitting in a "holler"?
His record is what?
Who?
Who?

Whoever can bring a coach in that can prevent me from repsonding like is all I care about?  

Dooley isn't paid for moral victories.  The "improvement" card is laughable at this point, and I knew that's what you'd say.  "We didn't get beat as bad at the away game I attended" is not a valid reason settle for mediocrity.  I feel bad that the current product on the field is good enough for you.  Obviously this year seems better because Bray is still playing. This is the worst defense in UT history.  Dooley has had plenty of opportunities to beat just ONE team of significance.  The "rightness" of this process will be determined by the level of success of Hart's new hire.  If Kiffin had us where we wanted to be by now, no one would care about how  it was handled.

And once again, money is not of any issue here.  It will cost UT more money if Dooley were to stay.  It doesn't really matter anyway, because Dooley is a goner.

For you to assume Hart will mishandle it just like Hamilton did is not wise, imo.

100% agree with you Vinnie! In what world is a 0 in the win column against ranked opponents any type pf improvement.   Dooley is costing us more money by the week than it ever will cost UT to get rid of him.  Last time i checked empty seats are not bringing in money!  Call me a dreamer but I have to believe in the Gruden hype.  I believe!!!!
