Sloppy offensive game, i guess....but they had a nice strong finish.

A road win against the 3rd or 4th best SEC from last year, that's impressive considering what Tyndall had to work with this year.

I'm happy they're doing well, but I can't shake this feeling that Tyndall is just an interim coach.  I won't consider him "ours" until he's free and clear of this NCAA crap.  And from what I've heard, that just might not happen.  If he does well here, I'm sure Emmert and co. will take great delight in dropping the other shoe.   :frown:

If the Southern Miss allegations are substantiated, and Tyndall is implicated in that mess, I think UT has to fire him. How can we afford to keep a guy who has landed both of his two previous schools on probation...and what sort of message does it send for the integrity of college athletics (not that there is much integrity left) if we do?

And that's a freakin' shame. I am probably a candidate for president of the East Tennessee chapter of the Bruce Pearl fan club, but I don't think Pearl could've done what Tyndall is doing right now with the talent he has. The curse continues (close your eyes on this last sentence, Vinnie  ).

Maybe Hart should call his counterpart in Lexington for some advice on that dilemma.  It seems to have worked out pretty well for them.  :frown:

While I'm repulsed by Calipari and find him to represent just about everything that is wrong with amateur basketball, I would point out that he somehow managed to allude implication in those transgressions. I think we all know that the odds of the same coach presiding over two revoked Final Four appearances and yet having no knowledge of either in fraction is very unlikely, but it is what it is. God bless the NCAA.

Ah, ya beat me to it.

But if Kentucky can....

At some point, Karma is going to just destroy both Kentucky and the crimson cesspool to the south. Or so I say.... :naughty:
