Good luck to him. Hope he finds his niche for the remainder of his eligibility. I really didn't think our starter for next year was on campus yet but have since changed my mind. I was wrong about Dobbs, I now think he can get us where we need (want) to be.

All the best to him. He gave it his best shot.
Bottom line: He just wasn't good enough to play in the SEC. If he wants to play his final year he needs to go down to the D1-AA level. I don't even see him playing at a D1-A mid major.
Appreciate his hard work, his academic dedication, and his being a good citizen while he was here.

I'm excited to see what happens after Dobbs goes through the off season and practices as the #1 guy.

Well, after an update, it appears that he hasn't left the building.
Updated 2:28 pm: A UT spokesman told the KNS that Peterman has enrolled in grad school at UT & is still with the program right now, so we’ll wait to see how it all plays out

Yeah, just heard on local sports stalk radio that since he is a graduate student he wouldn't be listed in the student directory any longer. The host (Russell W. Smith) also said that the coaches are hoping that Peterman will stay around at least through spring practice so they have more than one QB (Dobbs obviously being the other one) who knows the offense well enough to give the rest of the offensive players some live reps. The two early enrollee freshmen QBs aren't going to be up to speed yet.

Grad students are typically in the directory. Peterman is not, but official student data has Peterman as a grad student for Spring 2015 so all indications are that he's still around. The directory is an unreliable way to figure out who is here and who isn't. Media should know better.

I think being thrown into the fire against UF last year just killed any chance he might have had. A QB only has so many chances to prove himself, and he dug a very deep hole that day. Good luck to him, and in the future may Butch learn to not take advice from fans on who our QB should be.

You mean as a grad student? Yes. It's pretty common now for athletes to be in grad school by their senior year, and they still get the same monetary benefits.

When he came in in relief of Worley when he got hurt the play calling wasnt exactly in his favor. You dont take an ice cold QB and start throwing it deep and midrange. That destroyed his confidence. The person at fault is Bajakian. Period.

Good grief. Peterman is not an SEC QB, period. To blame his failures on Bajakian is absurd.
