That blocked xp   Titans sacked Burrow 9 times last year in the playoffs and still lost   No pity from me.

How can an NFL team have a long snapper that fizzles up TWICE in a single game?   That's next level incomepetance by their special teams staff.

Maybe the starter was injured, though the announcers didn't say so (then again, long snapper is not exactly a high vis position ).

Who absolutely resembled us was the Broncos tonight.  Two fumbles on the 1 yard line, either one of which could have been a FG to be the difference in the game.  Just turible.

The long snapper was injured (noted more than once before each FG attempt)
The backup TE was also the backup snapper

Yep...starting snapper was out injured.

I taught my son to long snap when he was in the 7th grade...I told him every team needs long snappers. He long snapped in high school and college...He wasn't very big or I have not doubt he could have snapped in the pros.

Yeah. Only dialed in to the very end. They did NOT state the snapper was injured on the last attempt. I only actually saw a few minutes of the game.

Some sloppy week one NFL action. This is what happens when the starters don't see game action in the pre-season. It will be after about game four that these NFL teams really know what they have. I guess the fans have to put up with an inferior product until they play into shape.

That's really cool Phil, I am sure your son appreciated you helping him get that opportunity.

Long snapper is a very specialized skill for sure.  IIRC correctly, UT used to make this a walk-on position and then typically give the guy a schollie when he became an upperclassmen starter.  I don't know if that tradition has survived all the coaching changes or not.
