Well played 'Nut. Gotta have two things to start a fire. It sounds like dude has some serious, serious issues. The only time I've seen anything like that was a couple of years ago in Gatlinburg. A buddy and I were at a T intersection at a light near Pittman Center. Our light turned green to allow traffic to pull out onto 321. Unfortunately a guy (frighteningly similar to your description) headed eastbound on 321 didn't realize this until the first vehicle (a minivan) in line pulled out in front of him. He slammed on his brakes and stopped in the middle of the intersection, hopped out, and approached the minivan. This minivan was unfortunately piloted by a nice, but stupid woman who instead of pulling out and heading toward Cosby started to get out and converse with the Cretan. At this point my buddy and I jumped out of his truck and informed everyone to get back in their vehicles. They complied, the woman drove off, and the guy who started it all found himself locked out of his vehicle when his light turned green. Unfortunately his girlfriend who was still in the car (?) unlocked the door and he drove off in a cloud of smoke. Please note nowhere in the story did I insinuate the individual was from Cocke or Hamblen County - though it is certainly possible either was his place of origin.

Good stuff about York. Despite seeing the movie upteen times and hunting and backpacking in BSF I've never been to Pall Mall. Also, please let me know how the boar hunt goes.
They till up that area something awful, but the most I've ever seen were about 1/2 mile from Charit Creek Lodge on the way to Jake's Place (a serious rattlesnake hotel). We rounded a corner in the trail and bam, the hill was covered with sows and piglets. Fortunately they just grunted and trotted up the hill.
I REALLY want one on the wall to go next to the nice 10-point I got off Divide Road, but my wife thinks that's a horrible idea. BTW, why did the deer population explode everywhere else, but take what seems to be a big hit up there?

I'll give you that, but it counts one and done Patterson, isn't much different from a of Fulmer's final classes, and was the exception to the rule.

I'll give Dooley quite a bit of credit for restocking the roster with guys who can stay in school. I disagreed with him on plenty of stuff, but I think he did a pretty good job identifying talent.

Gotta say I'm not too concerned. Here's why.
1) Corporate (or athletic department) debt isn't the same as individual debt. My house can get repossessed, but Neyland isn't going to. There's no real exposure. Also, the athletic department is projected to have a much longer earning life than I do so they don't need to be as frugal. Long term debt is fine for the Vols even if it could be awful for me.
2) Money is cheap right now if you're going to go on a building spree the past few years have been good times to do so.
3) Tennessee's cash flow is in much better shape than it appears given the $7 million that won't go directly to the university. If something can be done about Knoxville siphoning off $1.6 million annually the department suddenly has a decent surplus.

Whoa, the 2+2 would have been amazing, but you still did quite well. I on the other hand piloted an '86 Mazda 323 with a 1.6L. It did get around 40 mph. I'd spend about $1 to fill the tank when I was in college and that would be good most weeks.
The funny thing is it was sunstantially quicker than the vehicle I primarily drove in high school: a Cherokee with a 2.5L 4 cylinder. A version of the engine was fine in a Chevy Celebrity, but awful in the Cherokee. You literally could not go up an on ramp and merge at a speed >40.
