Consulting fees?

Anyone here ever done any consulting work? My case is specific to I.T., but I've no idea how much to ask for and I don't think they know how much to pay.

That's what I do for a living....It depends on what you will be doing. If you do independent contracting, you will have to pay all taxes and benefits (Ira, insurance, etc) yourself. Also, you may be required to create a LLC or Corp and carry liability insurance. PM Meir you want more info.
