why is it so hard for these kids to not be knuckleheads? Hope he gets his act together. He is a fun player to watch. He is a pretty good play maker as well.

McNeil out too - how does that shake up the secondary?

Pig's suspension is a result of something that happened back in the Winter (I've heard missing some classes?).  Butch did say that PIG has been a model person during Fall camp.

Not to speculate, but the McNeil situation sounds ominous.  Hope for the best for him.

Frankly, Pig's suspension may be best for our QB in the long run.  Dobbs had a tendency to lock on to Pig and ignore other open guys last year.  Let's make him go through his progressions in the opener.

Two reasons in my view:
1) Pig was the one receiver that most consistently got open
2) Pig was the one receiver that most consistently caught the ball

It's always something. These things never surprise me anymore. In fact, I would be shocked if these things didn't happen. Of course, that is a statistical impossibility.

It's not a good thing when your senior "leaders" are being suspended for games.

Dam. McNeil has developed into a solid safety.  TK jr showed a lot of promise last year, although at the time I thought he was a LB.  Berry seems to have the talent for the position and got a pick or two last year so it's not the end of the world but it is a big loss.
