I am not happy that we didn't go to the NIT, but it honestly doesn't do a whole lot for the program. Maybe a recruit will see a game at some point, but looking at a team's resume in terms of accomplishments the NIT doesn't add much other than "better than nothing". That being said, I would have welcomed it as a chance to see the team in action again, and if by some miracle they win it, well that does add a bit of prestige. So I guess I'm mildly disappointed... :dunno: I will say that I think Barnes was a good hire, and he has an excellent chance of turning things around. |
