Bandit, no motor home just took the car. I went through southern Illinois and St.Louis because there was a particular Indian site I wanted view named Cahokia. We did Kansas and there was nobody home After Topika, you drive and see virtually nothing but wide open spaces. This is our grand tour and something we have always wanted to do. BG Right. Kansas is more or less just a place to drive through on the way home, lol. Although there are a couple of historical Western type sites that have been recommended to me, so who knows? While we are on the topic of vacations, my trip to Gulf Shores was two couples. The male in the other couple is a huge bammer fan. We shared a two bedroom condo, so there was a common TV, right? There are two sources of TV in Gulf Shores...some stations are Mobile and others are Pensacola. My buddy flat refused to watch the Pensacola stations because they were in Florida. Seriously...WHAT THE fizzle is wrong with you bammers! To be such a "loyal bammer" that you won't even watch a TV station because "it's not Alabama". That right there is a special breed of crazy.

Well I guess we will never know if he was better than Worley or Dobbs. Was an awful lot of talk without him ever setting foot on the field.
I think Worley gives us the best shot at winning at this point, based on the Uga and USCe games last year, in which he played really well. But whatever works....

Speaking of the drive on being on vacation being bad, we left for the west Wednesday and so far are up to 2200+ miles. Left the Rockies in Colorado this am and now in Jackson Hole, Wyoming for several days. Still have to go up near the Canadian border in Montana to Glacier National Park (staying in Whitefish), and then making our way back down to Las Vegas, LA, and finally to Arizona. Might start back in about two and a half more weeks, but no date set for the return to Alabama...might be at longer. Speaking of being tired after a vacation BG Do you have a motor home? The Northwest is a place I have not visited much, and I plan to do a "Grand Tour" sometime. But I will go through St. Louis, to Rushmore, Little Big Horn and then Yellowstone if I can stretch it that far. Then come home through Colorado, and Kansas if I have time to go that far. I will hit several states I have never been to that way. Eventually, I want to visit every single state. I have Hawaii and Alaska out of the way, so the rest should be easy.

When I was a kid, I devoured every book I could get my hands on about WWII, to the point that I became bored with it. WWI also, to a lesser extent. It will be interesting to see the History Channel take on it though, especialy the part about the WWII leaders in WWI, which I know little about. I know that Churchill was Lord of the Admiralty and Hitler was a Corporal, but I know almost nothing about FDR or Stalin in that time period.

I did that once. I've spent many hundreds of dollars playing and won one hundred once. That means I'm one hundred dollars ahead.
So, whatever you teach, is obviously not math, huh?

Just spent 5 days at the beach. Eating sea food, drinking beer, playing in the surf, and walking in the sand. I think the drive was the worst part. Good thing I just retired and do not have to worry about work. I just got back last weekend from 5 days at Gulf Shores. It was amazing. Temperature topped in the mid 80s and it was almost deserted. Hope you had an equally good time.

Although the Hamilton tenure was a complete fiasco, I guess all the facilities upgrades did pay off in some cases.
“We got him over here, he saw our facilities, and he said ‘wow,’ ” Pinkins said. “I never knew about what Tennessee had until I got the job. When I was at Ole Miss, you just go to the [Thompson-Boling] arena when you’re here for a game, and you don’t see the practice facility, you don’t see the football stadium or much of the campus. We’ve got a lot to sell.”

You could really see his public persona as "the ultimate team player" start to break down as early as last summer, when he made some comments comparing himself to Manziel. You could tell there was some jealousy there. Then he got all pissy about the "red team" thing, and it's just been downhill from there. Throw his famewhore girlfriend and overbearing, plastic surgery addict mother into the mix, and it's clear that he's just white trash with money. Nothing more. I lke the way you think....

If as one player claims that he had a broken leg and they waited until after the season to tell him, they deserve to be sued. I think all that money the league has given to owners may be about to be directed elsewhere. I would be talking settlement and long-term health care. Quickly.
It seems to me then, that it would make more sense to let individuals sue and not do the class action. But I am not an attorney...maybe it has a greater chance of success that way. But if, as posted above, one player was not told he had a broken leg, then that case would seem to have more merit. I don't know how the league or courts then go about sorting out who has a legal grievance vs. those just trying to "cash in". They did have a process to sort through that for concusions though, so I guess it could work again. On the whole, I am inclined to believe that the majority of the players knew what they were doing.

In his morning radio show, Colin Cowherd linked Michael Sam and AJ McCarron together as two players who "want to have a reality show but don't deserve it yet". So you aren't the only one thinking that about AJ.....

Roy Hibbert would have to be Sansa Stark. Both just stand around, play the victim, and do little else. Ha...funny. He has been inconsistent but has played well lately. Not sure what character that would be. Maybe Sam Tarley?
