Some thought that group was highly over rated from the get go.
Honestly, the only thing that surprises me is that somebody didn't take a chance on Tiny in the middle rounds, and that James was picked about a round higher than I thought he would be.
That UT group was definitely over hyped going in to last year.
I expectecd 3 to be drafted but was not surprised by 2. Agree about tiny...really surprised no one took him. I will be surprised if he does not sign somewhere though. I guess my expectations for the OL were lower because Iwas happy with.our best run game.in ten years.

Other than James, who was drafted in the first round, a really poor showing at the NFL draft
Tiny undrafted, Bullard undrafted, Stone undrafted, and Fulton got taken very late by K
only tiny and james projected high. bullard was not pprojected at all and stone/fulton were 7th to free agent types tge big shocker is tiny not being drafted. james did better than expected and the rest did about what they were projected to do

I was convinced Jerry was gonna pull the trigger. Somebody must've reasoned with him at the last minute. I never thought so. Jerry has always been extremely loyal to his starting QB and he seems to still like Romo. Heck, he kept Aikman around for a year or so when apparently stepping over a yard line would cause a concussion.

Well, I do. I got the 8.1 update (developer beta) and it is freaking GENIUS!!! Anyone?
Well, I haven't got any direct experience with Windows phones, but I noticed that the song they play in the background while adverting the Windows phone is "Brave" by Sarah Brandeis. The chorus that plays in the background is "Honestly, I wanna see you be BRA---AAA----VVE!" Like, you have to be "brave" to buy a windows phone. Which makes me think it suxes. It reminds me of their Bing campaign....yes, we suck compared to Google, but that way you don't get distracted as much. I mean, come ON. Bing SUXES!!!! Actually Ms. Brandeis sounds like she is actually saying "BREV". I guess her pronunciation just suxes. Which leads one to wonder if that's not actually a new word: Brev (briv) - adj. Having or pertaining to the quality of suckiness found in Microsoft Windows products. "My new windows phone is very brev."

I'm due an upgrade in a couple months, so I'm starting to look around. Frankly, I'm getting sick of the trend of smartphones getting bigger and bigger. These 5"+ monsters may be great for women, who can just throw them in their purse. But when you keep your phone in your pocket, it's a real pain. If I need a bigger screen to watch video or play games, that's what tablets are for. I don't need that on my phone. I wish someone would make a 3.5-4" phone with premium specs. The iPhone 5s was the only phone that fit that description, but they've been surpassed by the latest Androids (HTC One M8, Galaxy S5), which have faster processors, better cameras, etc. And it's sounding like the iPhone 6 may be following the big screen trend, if the rumors are true. Which means that I'm out of luck. I can either get a small screen phone with substandard components, or a superphone that won't fit in my pocket. Between the HTC One M8 and the Galaxy S5, which do you prefer? It's about time for a new phone for me.

As for Cuonzo being to blame for the player's current attitude, I am sure he did not help matters.
But based on statements by McRae and Maymon after the tourney run, I think the players got plenty pissed all on their own, and I don't blame them a bit for it.

That's good because I've heard Thompson, Hubbs, and Davis are requesting releases. Jeez.
Hubbs we need, and need badly. Thompson is experienced, Davis, I don't even know who he is. Hopefully the new coach can recruit...we needed that anyway.

The Big 12 also whined about this earlier in the week.
Although this does bring up an interesting answer to the ""home and home" problem, which is that if other leagues are trading 4 home games for 5, then the SEC can also. Yes, some years that will suck, but that's life in the big city.
As college football has grown bigger and into a huge cash cow, some things have to change. Playing an unequal number of home and away games in a conference schedule is not, in the grand scheme of things, that big a deal compared to other things.

I agree with the LSU AD. Same with us.....there is a 80% chance as it is now that we would have to play Bama twice to win the SEC.....We are the only team in the SEC that would have to do that year end and year out...Think about that!!
As it is now we have a disadvantage.
I agree also, but I think we are on the path to being much more competitive with bammer. Its still 2-3 years away though. This year will be a struggle again. Next year will be better and by 2016 we might...just maybe...be all the way back (to being competitive at the highest level of the SEC...not predicting an NC or anything).

This will be revisited within 5 years. SECN is going to demand a 9 game conference schedule. All they did today was delay the inevitable.
I'm in favor of a nine game schedule. They could also consider division realignment. But to keep the two current big out of division rivalries of Uga-AU and UT-bammer alive, all four of those teams would have to be in the same division. No way! And of course UF-UGa would have to stay also, so just imagine five of the six traditional powers in the same division. Would never work.

Interesting comment by LSU AD
"Since 2000 LSU has played Florida and Georgia 19 times and Alabama has played them eight times. That is a competitive disadvantage. There are a lot of other examples."
What's sad is that bammer playing us, should even that up a bit. Heck, from 2000-2006 it did, in fact.
One day soon..... ?

McCaron, OTOH, seemed to have all the intangibles, up until this past season. Now, he's starting to look like a guy who brings the circus to town. Not just with his mother, but with his fame-whore girlfriend, and their new reality show. How many teams are going to want to put up with that kind of crap over a late round draft pick? It's probably the same reason that Tim Tebow is no longer playing. Teams might put up with a little more off-field stuff if they thought they were getting the next Joe Montana, but that's clearly not the case.
I didn't realize that the reality show had actually occured. Since it apparently has, your point is well taken. There is a very good chance he won't be drafted. And yeah, his girlfriend is incredibly hot, but man did she make the most of her "15 minutes". She should be paying Brent Mushberger royalties.
