Jackson is a perfect example of a $10 million talent carrying around a ten cent head.  He had all of the potential in the world.

WOW! Just WOW! He had the makings of a really good db. He was just coming into his own as a player. I thought he was gonna be a star after his freshman year. Sorry to hear stuff like this about anybody.

Dam!  Crazy....but, sadly, it fits his previous behavior.

It's uncanny how BAD Kiffin was at picking kids. Its almost as if he went out of his way to pick guys with the worst character.

To be fair, it wasn't just Kiffin that was "bad" on this one.  LSU and tOSU also offered him, among others.

but we got him. In fact, we "stole" him. And Nukeese. And the other guys in that gas station incident. And about 80% of the guys in his one class.

If Kiffin had stayed at UT, he would've put Urban Meyer to shame when it came to recruiting guys of questionable character.

Don't disagree with that.  Only pointing out that Kiffin wasn't the only coach willing to take a thug like Jackson.

Yep, people want that sort of guy but you have to be smart. You can take chances on one or two like this in each class, but you have to surround them with high character guys instead of more problems. That Kiffin class had at least a half dozen of that sort.
