I was 7. I believe it was a Friday or Saturday, because we had gone out for a family dinner at Duff?s on Brainerd Road. After dinner, we went to the store next door, which I believe was called ?Bargain Bazaar?. It was basically the wish.com version of Pier One, but for some odd reason they had pool tables and TVs that usually showed sports in the back of the store. So while my mom and sister went shopping, dad and I shot pool. When they broke in the Olympic coverage on TV to break the news, the whole store broke out in cheers and USA chants.

Just one of those neat ?where were you when? moments that I?ll always remember. :patriot:
