No.  The DB contacted his forearm a bit, but the ball was significantly overthrown and not catchable. With a bit better throw I think its complete in spite of the slight contact.

Completely stupid move by Joe. Even though A&M jumped he could have picked up the first down.

Milton 's lack of awareness caused the punt.

Not the best start for him....misfired on the first pass high, had to call the TO, then dodged a couple yards early.  Even his completion was behind the WR, but Nimrod adjusted nicely.

Just now Jabari made a great adustment on that 9 yard run.  An A&M player was about to swat the ball out and he adjusted his hold.

The A&M defense is legit
Having said that we have moved the ball on the ground
Fits and starts (mostly the former) in the passing game

On defense we have been inconsistent in the pass rush
At times pretty good but mostly 14 has had time

We have blitzed more often but not really effective with it

They have not thrown at Hadden at all, that I remember
They picked on the other corner and the slit (a lot)
With one exception the run defense has been good

Now let?s tighten up and win the damn game!

BTW, Hadden has been very demonstrative the entire game, egging on the crowd and his teammates

Why do they not play at their normal fast pace. seem they are too deliberate on offense compared to last year. Wouldn't playing at warp speed help Milton by not letting defense substitute.

It pisses me off the way Heupel talks crap about how great they played today. I wanted the reporter to ask him what happened against UF? His offense sucked today too.

Their QB made quite a few good throws.  The int's may have been bad throws, but he was under considerable pressure on 4th down and at least let it go.

These announcers forget Heupel's  Vols have always been a running team. Just need the passing game to compliment it.

We've not played a good offense yet. Missouri may have the best offense we play. That in itself is crazy. Bama and UGa aren't juggernauts on offense. Have we played an offense ranked in the top 50?

did our D beat UF, Did UK score 40 on UF?  We still got a tough road ahead.

Yep. It's great to have a defense that keeps you in the game. It is markedly improved from last year. Of course, it's a good thing since the offense isn't as proficient. But it's good to see that we are building a strong defense.

I don't care how the Vols win. Ugly, pretty, offense defense it's all good. Just hard on the ticker. Everybody take care and: on to Tuscaloosa.

In their last 2 games, TAMU has scored 6 second half points (3 in each game). 😳
