No one has a good subject to argue about? Or a bad subject?

How about Belle Glos Pinot Noir vs. Domaine Serene Pinot Noir? Anyone? Bueller?

Wrong colour of wine
Therefore, my response would be neither

VOTE FOR KIM WHITE in the 'nooga mayor runoff!  Why?  because she is my cousin!  :toothless:

Despite my obvious bias, I do think she would be a great mayor and she has already done a lot of great things for the city.  Go get'em Kim!

I have 5 uncles and 2 aunt's on my dad's side of the family, and they grew up as preacher's kids in Dayton.  Kim's dad was probably my favorite uncle, but I have so many awesome uncles, so that is saying alot.  He taught me how to fish and waterski and just had the most amazing patience and upbeat attitude.  Sadly he passed away last summer after a long, long battle with cancer.  He had a really nasty blood type cancer, but he pretty much outlasted it.  However, the drugs he was taking to fight that cancer - and this went on for over 10 years it seems or more - those drugs he took eventually gave him a different type of cancer.  It's so tough to lose anyone from cancer, but it was particularly bad in this case to see him get suckerpunched like that....  And not be able to say goodbye to him.  I'm thankful that I got to see him last February a year ago, at least.  You'll never find a greater Big Orange fan.  Anyway, I kinda went off subject a little, but Kim is good folk.  I imagine her runoff opponent is a decent chap, but I don't really know much about him.   I hope she wins.

Did you know they are playing football up here in the Great White North? Missouri Valley conference started their season. Crazy world. Better late than never.

And North Dakota State lost and snapped their 39 game winning streak.

Wish they had these football games on cable.....The ones they are showing are on ESPN+

Now....If we want to discuss import beer.....I'm in.  My wife is the only wine drinker in the house.

SMITHWICK’S is my favorite
A better one IMO, but ya can't get it here is Kinsale (Red) Ale - My friend and I attempted to empty the entirety of the ale in Kinsale (SE coast of Ireland, 30 min South of Cork) and though we did fail (we only had an afternoon and evening) we had a LOT of fun trying!

I've been involved in some of those events....several times the next day I wish I hadn't.

My wife and all her Mom's side of the family being from England I learned real quick many years ago.....I can't out drink them. :patriot:

What no discussion on Champagne vs Proseco vs Cava vs Sparkling Wine?  I am aghast at the lack of fundamental judgment to provide a worthy discussion on the various "bubbly" alcohol variations across the world.  I recently have even been doing some Sparkling Sake that I find is as nuanced in a lot of ways as some of the finer Champagnes from the French Champagne region.

I also have discovered a fabulous French drink called Armangac (yes it is similar to Cognac) and is native to the Southwest part of France.  (And yes the unaged version will kick your booty)
