What droid app do you recommend to emulate an IPOD? Or Itunes, I suppose.

Double Twist.  You have to download the app to both your PC and your phone, and when you connect your phone it will sync just like iTunes.  I think they even now have a paid version that will automatically sync your phone wirelessly via bluetooth, but I haven't tried it.
