...which is the first (in the US, anyway) of the "new generation" of NFL stadiums built primarily from glass surfaces, so they kind of bring the outdoors in.  Neat looking place:

Similarly built stadiums are coming in Atlanta:

And LA:

And Vegas, if they can lure the Raiders there:

Hope that MN dome will be snow weight tested. The Vegas dome, should that be realized, is way cool.

That sucker (if it happens) is actually going to be on the Strip, just south of Mandalay Bay, and across from the airport.  Sounds like a traffic nightmare to me.

I literally just got back from Vegas late last night.  The driver of our Hoover Dam tour was complaining about just that.  He did say a lot of different locations have been/are being discussed.  His take was that it would be a traffic nightmare anywhere in Vegas, basically.   I can't disagree too much.

Speaking of gambling though, I played $100 on Black Jack at Caesar's Palace.  Lost $92 and put the remaining $8 on Vols to win NC at 12-1.

So, how did you do on the poker tables?

So, how did you do on the poker tables?

Lost a bit at cash, played three tourneys, took two bad beats and went out of the third on a coin flip.  Had no luck at all, unfortunately.

Did see Hoover Dam for the first time since 1992.  They put in a bypass about 10 years ago, so it was different.  We also rode something called the High Roller.

For $15 extra we got the wet bar option.  6 drinks in 30 minutes.  Woo-hoo!
