Starters

1 - Barton, PG - Sr
2 - McRae, G - Sr
3 - Hubbs, F/G - Fr
4 - Maymon, F -RS Sr
5 - Stokes, C - Jr

Key reserves off the bench

Richardson, G - Jr (could start)
Moore, G - RS Soph
Thompson, PG - Fr
Chievous, F/G - Soph
Ndiaye, C - Jr

AJ Davis should redshirt.

Do we see Reese and Edwards much? On the surface this is by far the most talented and experienced bunch Cuonzo will have at UT. What are your expectations of this team?

I'm afraid to pin any exact expectations on this season because Cuonzo's teams have been so Jekyll & Hyde, but I think it goes without saying that if UT doesn't make the NCAAT, Dave Hart should be on the market for a new coach. There's no reason this team can't compete for the SECC.

Depends if CCM uses his thoroughbreds like plow mules like he is custom to do. Stand around...work the clock down to 3 seconds and fire up a 3.

We have the talent....it's time for CCM to crap or get off the pot. And start the season off much better and not have to fight for our NCAA lives the last 4-6 weeks of the season.

that sounds like Pearl's half court offense

Especially when Tyler Smith was playing most of the offense seemed to be to stand around and wait for Tyler to go 1 on 3 (or 4).  When the SECCO was played in Tampa I was so frustrated it wasn't funny.  Really it was like watching a pre E & B meads offense

CCM in his past two seasons has focused too much on defense early, and not enough on offense...IMO. I think with this team he needs to get the best offensive players out there (which is why he should start Hubbs over Richardson). This focus led to bad starts both seasons.  We need a fast start and keep it going.
