All men dream: but not equally.
Those who Dream by night in the dusty recesses of their minds
Wake in the day to find that it was vanity; but the
Dreamers of the day are dangerous men, for they
May act their dream with open eyes, to make it Possible.
This I did.
—T. E. Lawrence,
The Seven Pillars of Wisdom

Enjoying Roger Creager Live Across Texas as I post.  That was preceded by The Randy Rogers Band Hot Tamales.

And if one is a fan of Red Dirt/Texas County as I am, you need to get Stoney LaRue's new CD Aviator, and Wade Bowen's new CD appropriately titled Wade Bowen.  Both are really solid discs.

Trying to figure out how to justify getting myself to Nashville this week.  Creager is at the Exit/In on Wednesday, and LaRue is there on Thursday.  I'd come for the double dip for sure if I didn't have a game to work on Friday night.  During football season it is tough for me to be gone during the week because I have to cram a full week of my "regular" job in to about 3 days.

I became a Roger Creager fan while living in Houston during the early 2000's.  Was friends with his bass player's sister and was able to see him live quite a bit.

Someday Alison Krauss is going to propose to me. And what a sweet day that will be.
