Congrats to Al.

I helped a buddy of mine coach a baseball all-star team of 13-14-15 year olds that Al was on....Al was 15 and a man among boys at that age. He was the most intense competitive 15 year old I'd had ever seen. Al pitched among played other positions.....when he was pitching I felt sorry for those younger kids coming to the plate to hit with a grown ass man on the mound.

I would like to have a whole team that played as hard as he did. Saw him with the Bronco's. Too bad that neck injury shortened his career.
