One of those Miami ball carriers seemed to me to have clearly released his lateral after his knee hit the turf.  Also picked up a block in the back flag (why can that penalty be reviewed but not others?).

The way I understand it is the block in the back was not reviewed...it was over-ruled by another ref telling the one that threw the flag that it was a legal hit...Much like what happened to us in the Ark game on the punt return for 6.

The review tonight was for the knee was or wasn't down on the final play.

I hate squib kicks. They make no sense. I'm betting a substantially higher % of them are taken back than normal kicks.

Cut still got hosed by another awful replay review, though. At least i think so.

Wow.  I can't imagine the SEC ever doing that.

But they should suspend officials in the SEC.   

I honestly think Slive didn't care so long as the SEC made the BCS and the big bucks that came with it.  I haven't seen any increase in accountability from the new guy, but maybe he is working on it.
