Hm, so I guess switching to WR paid off for him.  Good for him, I wish him no ill will.

But it's depressing to think he might be the only Tennessee player drafted this year, and he won't even count as a Tennessee player.

We need to get back to the days when we routinely were near the top of having players in the NFL.

Good for him. He made the most of his opportunity at Baylor. Hopefully he does well in the NFL.

I wish him well. I think he got thrown under the bus by Jones and the Vols. He went from a great kid and one of our hardest working players to a malcontent really fast. Seemed fishy. I think it was mostly Jones personality and ego that finished this kid at UT.

I think he is responsible for himself. I have no doubt Jones was part of the problem but the team voted that they wanted him to leave. That's more than the coach.

Oh I forgot,  today's players can now tell the coach what to do and how to coach them. I'll just have to remind myself to remember that. Wouldn't want to melt any snowflakes.

It's ironic that Hurd went in the exact same spot as did Alvin Kamara - 3rd round, 67th pick.

And while I didn't like the fact that he quit at mid-season, I will never blame Hurd for getting away from that bat shizzle crazy Butch Jones.
