So we were the only team to have no one drafted. Sad.

Maybe Hurd counts as a half....

C&P from TOS

Without anyone from UT drafted, the SEC had a record 64 players drafted. That's 24 more than 2nd place (Big 10).

I'm still not sure why this boring event attracts hundreds of thousands of people every year. But it looked like Nashville really showed out this weekend. That looked like the crowd two years ago when the Preds were in the SCF.

Sad day for UT, but "we" either missed on evals repeatedly, or failed to develop. I think it was a combo. If Miss State had three taken in 1st, THE UT can return to that level, and they weren't even very good

I don't get it either. Not long ago the draft was a relatively quiet event compared to what it is now. I still think the sports bubble will burst. Just can't call when.

But I will say that Bredesen negotiating for the Titans (Oilers) is what set the town loose, for better or worse. From Nashville area all my life, and it is an incredible transformation, again, for better or worse.

Nashville put on a 3 day show and good for them. IMO the NFL moving the draft around was a positive and generated more interest for people who could not otherwise attend the draft.
