I will not be leaving the office early today as usual on Friday. Some pigeons clients insist on being plucked paying extra for me to see them on Friday afternoon. The burdens I bear.

Thank you. That is all. Carry on.

Extra $$$s means extra bottles of fine wines, you know.

Since I'm home today I'll volunteer to take your normal Friday afternoon (and morning) off

This I did.

Yep, I do have a lifestyle to maintain.

On a related note, I'm going again with my friends to another wine dinner at their club. A different wine with each course. And a lot of it.

If all goes as planned, I will be departing the office at 11:30 a.m. and heading to northwestern Maryland for a weekend motorcycle rally.  Fingers crossed.

I saw the pic on FB of your bike packed and ready to go. Looks like fun. I wish I was riding with you, albeit in my car.

Have a good one.

Well, if TRObh had been able to go, we would have taken the Yukon XL and hauled the bike on a trailer.  She's not much for tents, but the back of the Yukon makes for a good air mattress platform and provides good protection from the elements.    The commute to the office this morning was the test for how well (or not) I packed.  The sissy bar bag, tent, and sleeping bag all arrived safely, so that's a good sign.  If I can just get to the rally the same way, it will be a success.

That sounds like a good time.  We may have to host such a copious event.
