Pretty freaking cool!

Out of the monolog Doc Severinsen was playing with the band, bonus cool!

Fallon does a pretty good Neil impression, but his Jim Morrison is downright spooky.

As I said on Facebook tonight, Fallon is a revelation.  I met him twice... SWEETEST fella ever but until he took over "The Tonight Show" I had NO idea what a freaking crazy talent he is.  He always just seemed like this super nice guy who always got tickled during sketches, but this guy is SERIOUS talented.  He's taken the show to a whole new level.

So, exactly how many different chemicals did he ingest to perform that impersonation???

Yeah, I never really cared for him on SNL.  The only times I found him funny was when he'd break character to laugh at Will Ferrell.  But he's definitely found his niche on TTS.

I also didn't care for him on SNL; just never thought he was very funny. I too have completely turned around and now think his talent is just great. Both the Neil Young and Morrison impersonations are killer, and he really has improved the show.  Great hire for The Tonight Show.

Edited to say I'm like '73 below and a Young and CSNY fan. Yes, he's a head case, but talented and I very much like his and CSNY's music. When he discusses issues, well, that's another story.

I stand accused of being a Neil Young fan. I became a fan in 1967 when I first heard Buffalo Springfield, Crazy Horse, and then CSNY. Saw him in 1974. He was an angry young man and looked the part.
