Good luck to him.  I hope he lights up the...whatever conference Pitt plays in now.  ACC?

Peterman will be a backup at Pitt, just like he was at UT.  Pitt's returning starter at QB is Cleveland, TN's Chad Voytik, who three for 2,300 yards and rushed for 600 last year.  He started all 13 games.  Voytik will be a redshirt junior this fall.

I never got the hype for Voytik in HS.  He was a turnover machine against any defense with a pulse.

He's been steady, but not spectacular at Pitt, but he is the guy.  

Looks like he threw 16 TD passes and only 7 INTs this past season.  That's more than 2 to 1, a more than acceptable ratio.  

Certainly Voytik appears to be a much better option than Peterman.
