and try to pick up Bill King & Bob Bell for any inkling of news... and would RUN to buy the Athlon pre-season mag for any tidbits...

and NOW????  Wow, watching the professionally produced videos, the professional "set" for signing day, the tech, the social media... it is INCREDIBLE how far the game of recruiting and promotion of this sport has come in the last, heck TEN YEARS!  It was only 20 years ago that an am station out of Nashville was one of the only sources of daily news.  NOW?  Unreal.

Butch and staff are incredible and this whole process only makes me respect Fulmer all the more... I mean, considering his recruiting success without the majority of all these new "tools".  Pretty remarkable.

It hasn't been that long ago that ReVOLver would do the signing day composite with pics and blurbs about each signee.  There was nowhere else to get that complete a summary in those long ago days.  My personal thanks to Al Gore for not only inventing the interwebs but also for keeping the momentum at a high level and forcing schools to get all techie on us.

I remember walking into Neyland in the 60's-70's and not knowing who the new players were until I looked in the program under the Freshman section.
