I'd be surprised if he was sober. My guess is he'd just experienced a major professional setback (failed tryout), and was trying to medicate through it.
I'm glad no one else was hurt, but it's terribly tragic. Regardless of whether my theory is correct, it's a heartbreaking story.
I think they did an autopsy and found no drugs or alcohol but yes it was a tragedy.

FL didn't stop the run either. basically their defense has been....bad
They bottled up bammer's run game early Saturday...many of the rush yards by bammer came in the late second half. Of course, the gators sold out to stop the run by bringing up a safety and cooper made them pay. But yeah, florida looks very beatable this year.

The story that stands out for me is six of the conference's western division teams being ranked in the top 16, including four teams in the top 10. Since the inception of conference divisions, that's unprecedented for a single division to be that dominate in college football.
The other story is the continued winning ways on the field for the Aggies. The move to the SEC was a brilliant move for them both financially and in terms of talent since they continue to recruit lights out.
BG
They are likely eating the Longhorns lunch, which is a bonus.

One of the most telling stats is the penalties...definitely a sign of coaching. It's worth noting that last season's rating was good but could have been better, as we were heavily penalized in our last few games. The team definitely slumped in November last year. 3 years of beatings under Dooley and the adjustment to Jones caught up to them. With the infusion of new young talent I don't expect that this year, and (knock on wood) if Worley stays healthy. Very encouraging defensive stats, but uga will be arguably the best offense we face this year. (I am still not sold on bammer ).

I'm sure UF/UT doesn't carry the same allure to everyone else that it did 15 years ago. We're down, and so is Florida. It's still better than USC jr and KENTUCKY though MSU fans are complaining that the Tamu MSU game is a noon kickoff. I think ESPN is deliberately putting some of the better games there....it's likely a better slot than it used to be. I haven't seen a whole lot of multiple night SEC games this year. I believe they are moving away from that. Likely they want the bigger numbers they get from a single SEC game.

LSU is better than Arkansas. I am not buying the Arkansas hype just yet. Northern Illinois was very good last year but lost a ton and at the end of the day they were playing a physical SEC team on the road. Let's see what Arkansas can do against one of the better SEC teams first. Indiana beating Mizzou is very encouraging. Way to go, my home state team. Florida seems to have issues in the secondary, and did against both UK and UA. We have very good receivers. Along those lines, I want to see Blake Sims against a couple more SEC D's before I anoint him as the next Joe Namath (who was entertaining on the pregame show Saturday...one of the very few ex-bammers that I can stand. ) I am not at all surprised that USC jr struggled against Vandy....I don't think USC jr is good at all, as the OBC admitted in his post game presser. They beat uga because that's "one of those games" where you just throw our rankings and records. Best team in the East is uga, in spite of the USC jr loss.

So, what did I tell you?
The rat bastards have 4th and a foot in overtime, go from the gun and hand it off 7 yards from the line of scrimmage and lost two yards on the play.
Brilliant. Just brilliant.
Same thing Fulmer did a few years ago against Florida on a 4th and a yard situation late in a game in which we had a chance to win.
We did that twice...1999 and 2000. It was a toss sweep. You may be thinking of a later one idk

Yabo-dabo-dooo! What a bonehead call at the end..4th and 1 and you go shotgun 5 yards deep in your backfield against that defense?? You have a better chance at a qb keeper up the gut to get one yard Yep .idiotic.....

Will likely go with the S5 -- because of the camera issue. I love my S3 and it's time for an upgrade, so was waffling on the S5 after reading about the HTC ---- the lady said Samsung still has a lot of bloatware, but has removed a lot of it on the S5 too.
Thanks for the input!
BDV helped me with the bloatware. You can install a "launcher app" that is very good at removing all the crap you don't want. The launcher app I use is "Apex". You will like your S5.

I think UT is getting jaw jaw at the perfect time.. I saw vast improvement last week at OU..The game was closer than the score..Striker was the difference in that game for OU..We all knew UT wouldn't win but CBJ has this team headed in the right direction..Having 2 true freshmen starting on the o-line,an all new o-line and d-line and all the young talent starting on this team and playing on the road at OU with no offensive or defensive penalties is very impressive..I hope I don't jinx them lol but I like UT's chances next week, with an early noon start time..UGA's fans won't be as drunk and rowdy as a later start would be and UT having a week off to prepare and get people healthy..Hopefully Von Pearson will be back, haven't heard a recent update though but watching this game the announcers are talking about how thin UGA's secondary is..If UT's o-line can give Worley time and the defense plays like they did at OU I think we leave between the Hedges with a W..Just my Orange colored glass view.. No question the team is heading in the right direction. Should be a good watch the rest of the season. I expect a few more ass beatings, but also expect to see continued improvement. Under the previous regime all I ever felt was a sense of dread! But it's better now....
