Harrison's postgame comments...yikes. If that had been a white guy saying that about a black guy, all hell would've broken loose. I guess it's not as socially unacceptable when the races are reversed, but suffice it to say that there's no place for that stuff in college basketball.
To Calipari's credit, his post-game presser was classy. And his staff did get the players back onto the court for the handshake. But he needs to work on his team just a little bit.
On a different note, I'm tired of hearing everyone say the game would've ended differently if the shot clock violation had been reviewable. Who's to say that the officials wouldn't have bungled that review just as much as they bungled the slap-to-the-face a few minutes earlier? Anyone with half a brain who wasn't wearing blue knows that should've been two shots and the ball for Wisconsin. Then there was a flat-out awful blocking call that went against Wisconsin the next trip. The officiating wasn't very good, but Kentucky got more than its fair share of 50/50 calls...as Kentucky often does. Obviously Rupps Rafters doesn't agree. Those folks are split between blaming Vegas and blaming Calipari. We can agree on the latter, at least.
Kentucky got at least as many bad calls. Oh heck, who am I kidding. They got MORE. They need to STFU about the tip.
