Exactly!
Since it was reported to ALL concerned, exactly who the hell were we supposed to "report it" to?

It is pure bullshizzle

The timing of the article is BS.

At the same time Lane did apparently do something that showed a lack of judgement, though it obviously wasn't illegal.  Seriously, what was a HS girl doing in his room to begin with?  Just sayin.

Maryland wins 20-19.  Now they've made James Franklin angry.  They won't like him when he's angry.

Photographic proof that he is a p*ssy.
9304  Sports / VTTW Message Board / Re: does anyone know if the game will available online? on: November 01, 2014, 09:41:24 EDT
Does espn3  still exist?
Also if you have wireless on your mobile you can download the watch espn app.

That doesn't happen to me, so it might be something your browser or computer is doing.  I usually use Chrome

No, just the Tennesseean attempting to act lie the scandlesheets, as opposed to actually practicing journalism.
Nothing to see here, at all.
Pure, unadulterated Bravo Sierra

I wouldn't call it BS if the attorney general considered prosecuting it.

I would say it's over as it happened a year ago.
9309  Sports / VTTW Message Board / This game will be close on: November 01, 2014, 05:36:11 EDT
Unadjusted prediction is chikenz 31 Vols 27, but I think Dobbs adds a TD so I will predict

Vols 34 chikenz 31

Turnovers as usual can skew this...so here is hoping the Vols lead in that category.
9310  Sports / VTTW Message Board / Re: SC's leading tackler is out for the game...... on: November 01, 2014, 04:35:17 EDT
Sure.  Beggars can't be choosers.  But if I'm going to the game (and I might, depending on where it is), I'd much rather go to Nashville, Houston, or Charlotte.  Heck, even Shreveport or Memphis would be better- at least they have casinos nearby.

I stopped at the casinos in Shreveport both going to and returning from the Dallas game.  I can tell you they are nice.  Made some money too....

9311  Sports / VTTW Message Board / Re: IMO the keys to victory are as follows: on: November 01, 2014, 04:30:44 EDT
To be honest, if this game were in Knoxville, I'd feel really confident.  I think it's a good matchup for us.  But this team hasn't won a roadgame against anyone with a pulse in...how long?  Seven years?  More?

Unless you count the neutral site win against NC State, which might even have been ranked at the time.

Thing is...does USC jr have a pulse?  I'm not sure....
9312  Sports / VTTW Message Board / Re: SC's leading tackler is out for the game...... on: November 01, 2014, 12:31:31 EDT
I'll take the ghetto bowl and be happy with it.

Yep.  Its convenient for me anyway.
9313  Sports / VTTW Message Board / Re: IMO the keys to victory are as follows: on: November 01, 2014, 12:30:20 EDT
South Carolina does not have any receiver as good as Bama. UT got beat by one player alone.

They average 34.

About the "one receiver beating us".  The sad thing is, this is Kiffin's MO, an overdependance on one player.  He did it at SC also...they had some WR who was responsible for 40% of their offense.

Arkansas figured this out and also figured out a way to double Cooper without making it obvious who the second guy was.  Bammer kept thinking Cooper was in single coverage and had several near picks.  Whatever happened then, unfortunately bammer adjusted and we were not ready for it in the first half.

Of course, the first TD featured a really late sub by bammer that Jones complained about, and what to me was a blatant hold by a WR on our DB.   But so it goes....Cooper should not have been that open to begin with.

Satan himself broke down that play on "ESPN Film Room" this week.  They rolled Cooper in motion and we were not expecting it.

Still, I was at the stadium and saw our guys jumping all over the place.

I hope we show up better prepared tomorrow!

Cherokees win 33-19, Bandit. Looks like they will be the 1 seed in Quad 1 when the playoff brackets are released on Saturday.

Outstanding.
9315  Sports / VTTW Message Board / Re: IMO the keys to victory are as follows: on: October 31, 2014, 04:50:25 EDT
I didn't know they had such a weak run D...that's encouraging.

Is Dobbs the starter?  I heard that Worley was still in the mix.

I agree with your last statement.  We are perfectly capable of going 4-0 down the stretch.

Last year's team played poorly to begin with, improved, and then regressed bigtime down the stretch.  This year's team started well and faltered.  A big sign of continuing improvement will be if they turn it around in the month of November, which is traditionally a strong month for Tennessee.

Go Vols!
9316  Sports / VTTW Message Board / Re: So how many watched all of the World Series? They say baseball is dying. However on: October 31, 2014, 04:44:42 EDT
Yeah, but now they're all talking about the NBA.  And I can't think of anything in sports more inconsequential than early-season NBA games.

They seem to spend 95% of their time talking about Le-Bron.  I can't stand to listen to it anymore.  Tired of hearing about him.
9317  Sports / VTTW Message Board / Re: Did everyone take the day off?......... on: October 31, 2014, 04:42:46 EDT
Today is game day for me.  The South Doyle Cherokees play for a District championship and the school's first undefeated record in its history at Sevier County this evening.  It's game day for me.

True about South Doyle, though Doyle did go undefeated in my senior year.
9318  Sports / VTTW Message Board / Re: Did everyone take the day off?......... on: October 31, 2014, 04:42:07 EDT
Cool.  Go Cherokees!

9320  Sports / VTTW Message Board / Re: Please explain to me on: October 30, 2014, 04:08:28 EDT
If he can improve his downfield passing ability, he could really open things up for us.

Yeah, it's not like Worley's vertical passing game has been impressive, unless I missed something.  Not counting Chattanooga, since that nice seam pass at the end of the uga game, I haven't hardly seen Worley throw a thing downfield.

Good defenses have something to do with it, but....
9321  Sports / VTTW Message Board / Re: Bama still has to play the two SEC teams ranked in front of them. For some on: October 30, 2014, 04:06:49 EDT
IMO, Bama loses two more games and is eliminated.  Miss State and Ole Miss win out until they play. Miss State wins that one.

star!
9322  Sports / VTTW Message Board / Re: I truly hope Worley isn't done. He is the kind of kid you want playing for your on: October 30, 2014, 04:06:02 EDT
So the latest is he might play...well he is from SC and played very well against them last year, so he will be motivated.

Either way, I think we have two options at QB now.  If I am Butch, I would not hesitate to put Dobbs if Worley struggles.

Hopefully between the two, we can get something going.

For me the bottom line, no matter how he looked, or how many passes he missed or how inconsistent he was last year, is that the team moved the ball and scored with him in there Saturday.  Haven't been able to say that about Worley since the uga game...

9324  Sports / VTTW Message Board / Re: Bad news,Bama won,good news,we have a qb that gives us on: October 28, 2014, 08:39:37 EDT
Correct....it was Fergie that had the leg injury and Peterman the thumb. We've had so many QB issues I got them mixed up. I did hear Butch in a presser after the Vandy game say what people didn't know Dobbs played the last 2 games with a hurt hand/wrist.

Well oddly that's good news...it means the dobbs we saw sat is less of a mirage than we may think.
9325  Sports / VTTW Message Board / I don't know how serious Worley's injury is, but on: October 28, 2014, 03:51:34 EDT
If he continues to back up Dobbs even after getting healthy, it's a great situation.  If Dobbs then struggles, Worley can come off the bench for a series or two if it seems necessary.  Worley won't be around next year, so there is no future QB controversy.  Whatever it takes to win these last four games...
