They could drop 17 channels tonight, including Nickelodeon, MTV, VH1, and Comedy Central.

I have Viacom almost as much as I hate Dish, so I'm siding with DirecTV in this dispute.

Viacom destroys good networks.

I don't watch most of those channels, but losing Comedy Central and Palladia would sting. Not as much as AMC, but I would be annoyed.

I also find it amusing that Dish and Direct want the right to buy these channels ala carte, but don't want to give their customers that same right.
