I think a big part of her universal appeal is that she plays for a team that people aren't sick of. If she had gone to UConn, SC, LSU, or even UT, she's just another great player in a long line of great players. But at Iowa, she's the most recognizable female athlete in the world. Funny how these things work out. I think The Rolling Stones made a song about it. :biggrin:

But had she gone to any of those other schools, she likely is not the leading scorer of all time.
