What's it about? Channel?

I don't watch many series programs at the moment. So sell me on this, please sir. I was/am a big fan of Dexter, 24 & Lost; reality not much, but I do like Bourdain on the Travel Channel and Pawn Stars on History. (Yes, I'm pretty dull.)

It's about a U.S. Marshal who previously worked in Miami but he was too trigger happy so they transferred him to rural Kentucky, where he originally was from. He deals with moonshiners, drug dealers and all the nice people of Harlan County.

Thanks Droner, we've been looking all over for that. We liked the previews, never saw it before, and then couldn't remember where it was coming on. Getting old is the shizzle.

Went to sleep before it came on, so somebody make sure they remind me next week please. I do remember seeing the previews to this show and thought it would be worth checking. I too have have wandered Harlan County, KY trying to find quite a few coal miners for a case. Damn lawyer I was working for got hit with a $32M judgement and got fired from the law firm I still do a lot of stuff for (idiot). It is a very unusual place, for sure. I really might enjoy this, for sure.

doesn't enjoy it....well maybe a little.  It's a really good show, I also like Southland which just resumed also. There's not much on TV worth watching anymore IMO, mostly reality shows which are anything but "real". Speaking of Harlan County....I trace my roots back there, my folks mined coal in that area...my grandfather said he went to work in the mines when he was 7 to support his family after his father runn oft. You talk about a rough life....that was tough.

Tom Selleck in that role you should check out his Jesse Stone series of movies...the last one was a dud IMO but most of the others are pretty good to varying degrees, I really like his character and the location is great.
